This is the day you want to go on if you want some special pictures of birds in a natural habitat, including owls in tree hollows and moss covered stumps. The day starts at 9.45am when we all meet up at Liberty's Raptor and Reptile Centre, before driving in convoy out into the Forest, which takes approximately 25 minutes. Please note that once out there, there are no facilities other then car parking, so you might want to bring snacks and drinks with you, or purchase some from the Liberty's Cafe before we go. The day ends at about 2pm, when we head back to the Centre, where you are welcome to spend the rest of the day photographing the many interesting birds and reptiles that live there.

Photographers of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend these days, although please note that that disabled access in the Forest is naturally limited and that the ground can be uneven. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. As you will be able to get very close to the birds, most modern cameras will be able to return good results, although we suggest that as a minimum your camera has at least a 3X zoom. For those using SLR cameras we suggest that a zoom lens of around 70 - 300mm focal length will be most useful.

Public Days - £45 per person
We run public photo days where you are welcome to book yourself a space if you wish to go. Details of these dates can be found in the window at the top of the page. To book your place please contact us by email or phone. Please note that there is a £15 booking fee required to secure your place, with the balance of £30 being paid on entry at the Centre.

Group Bookings - £45 per person
Clubs, organisations or just groups of friends can book private group bookings with us. We require a minimum of 5 persons and a maximum of 12 on any one day, and suggest that anyone organising such a day contact us with some dates to ensure that the Centre is available for booking that day.

Special Offer: Organise a Group Booking Day for at least 7 people, including yourself, and the orgainser will get free entry on the day

Private Days - £200 per day for up to 4 persons
You can book a private day for between one to four photographers for £200. Many people like to do it this way with a small group of friends and split the cost between them. Private day bookings require a £50 booking fee paid upon booking, and £150 paid at the Centre on the day.
