Welcome to our online Photoshop Tutorials. We are hoping to show you a way of coming to grips with Photoshop, using simple step by step tutorials, illustrated with screen shots of the processes we use.. Although we have used Photoshop CS2 in our tutorials, the basics should be more or less the same in most versions of the program.
The tutorials are aimed at beginners, and are not meant to be an exhaustive in depth look at Photoshop, but rather a hands on simple tutorial on how to practically use the software to improve your images, and to introduce the idea of a logical work flow to your image processing. We have divided the tutorials into two sections, starting with the most basic things and leading up to using the software as a practical aid to your image processing. We have also included some demonstartions on exactly how we have processed a particular image from it's RAW state to a finished image, so you can follow our work flow as an example.
At no point do we claim that our way is the right way. Photoshop is one of those programs where there are numerous ways of achieving the same goal, and we have merely tried to illustrate our way of doing things.. We strongly encourage you to experiment, and see what different effects can be achieved with different functions and tools, and firmly believe that the more you experiment the greater your over all understanding will be.
