Tutorial: Brightness And Contrast

Stage Two:

To adjust the Brightness and Contrast, simply open your picture, then select "Images", "Adjustments" and finally Brightness/Contrast.

This will open the Brightness/Contrast window.

Ensure that the Preview box is ticked as this allows you to see the effect of what you are doing live on the image. Here we have chosen to make the image less bright by inserting a minus number of -8, and boost the contrast by a plus number of +20.

Then click on OK.
